Hello – an oral care brand with the mission to reinvent the category with its innovative package design – has recruited a few new seasoned executives, to be part of its leadership team.

Hello’s founder and CEO, Craig Dubitsky – who is featured in this video interview with Beauty Packaging’s Jamie Matusow – commented:

“As the company transitions from year one into year two, the new and expanded leadership team will continue to establish hello as the brand that finally makes personal care more, well, personal. We’re growing like crazy, and this passionate and extremely experienced team has the goods to deliver on the scale of the opportunity before us.”

  • Steve Lloyd has been appointed Chief Operating Officer. Prior, Lloyd was CEO of Boots North America. He will ensure operational quality across all functions within hello, while leading the development of its growth strategy.

  • Lisa Kaplowitz is its Chief Financial Officer. Kaplowitz has over 20 years experience, with an established record of growing businesses and increasing profitability at both large publicly-traded companies and entrepreneurial start-ups. Kaplowitz was an investment banker before taking on the role of Treasurer at Bed Bath & Beyond; and then CFO at LittleMissMatched, a PE-backed start-up in New York City.

  • Christi (Helsel) Botello is the new Director of Marketing. Most recently, Botello led the Global Almay Brand at Revlon, and previously held senior brand leadership roles at Procter & Gamble and Avon.

  • John Ende has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Sales as the company prepares to expand its sales force in its second year in-market. A West Point graduate and veteran of Mentholatum, Johnson & Johnson and the U.S. Army, Ende will continue to play a prominent role in the ongoing expansion of the brand domestically and internationally.

Hello reports that it has had a successful first year, with retail distribution covering more than 25,000 U.S. doors. The company also has a growing international footprint.

Hello’s look was created by BMW Group DesignworksUSA. The product lineup includes a toothpaste, mouthwash and breath sprays. The products are formulated without any harsh chemicals, artificial colors, alcohol or sweeteners. Tricor Braunproduces the packaging.
